Estate lawns, installed the way Palm Beach requires.
The Town of Palm Beach sits on a barrier island between the Atlantic and the Lake Worth Lagoon, with about 9,200 year-round residents (2020) and many more in season. Lawns here are held to a high standard — and so is the way the work gets done.
Scheduled around the town’s rules
The town restricts when landscaping can happen, especially in season. Installs are scheduled within the permitted days and hours, and large installs are never started on a Saturday.
Coordinated with estate managers
We work with estate managers, landscape architects and ARCOM-approved plans, and provide insurance certificates and a written scope up front.
Tidy, rule-aware crews
The town has rules on vehicle markings, blowers and right-of-way parking. We work within them and leave hardscape and plantings as we found them.
Varieties for salt and shade
Oceanfront salt and the shade of mature hedges and canopy call for different grasses. We match the variety to each area of the property.
What Palm Beach lawns actually deal with
Palm Beach combines oceanfront salt, Intracoastal exposure and mature landscaping with some of the most detailed landscaping rules in the county.
Seasonal landscaping hours
During peak season the town bans landscaping on weekends and holidays and limits weekday work to 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; off-season, Sundays and holidays are off-limits and Saturdays are restricted to quiet work. Dates and details change, so we follow the town’s current landscaping hours and regulations.
Holiday construction ban
The town bans construction from December 24 through January 1, and Worth Avenue sees no work at all in season. We plan installs well ahead of the holidays.
Summer fertilizer ban
No nitrogen or phosphorus from June 1 through September 30. Our after-care and treatment programs are timed around it.
Blower and vehicle rules
Gas leaf blowers are banned on lots under one acre, all blowers have a noise limit, and work vehicles must show the company name on both sides. Our crews work within those limits.
ARCOM and landmarks
Landscaping visible from the street can go through the town’s Architectural Commission, and landmarked properties through the Landmarks Preservation Commission. We work from approved plans when a review applies.
Ocean and Intracoastal salt
UF/IFAS rates St. Augustine and Zoysia as the most salt-tolerant lawn grasses; Palmetto and CitraBlue also handle the shade of mature hedges.

FAQs from Palm Beach homeowners
The questions we hear most about Palm Beach properties. Anything not covered here gets addressed during the on-site assessment.
When can sod be installed in Palm Beach during season?
During peak season, landscaping is limited to weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and large installs can’t start on a Saturday at any time of year. The town sets the exact dates, so check its landscaping hours page; we schedule to it.
Do you work with estate managers and landscape architects?
Yes. We often install to an approved landscape plan, coordinate access and staging with the estate manager, and provide certificates of insurance and a written scope.
Which grass suits an oceanfront Palm Beach property?
How is new sod watered under the water restrictions?
South Florida’s watering rule limits established lawns to two days a week, with no watering from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., but new plantings get extra watering days for up to 90 days. We set a new sod watering schedule that stays within the rules.
Are you licensed and insured in Palm Beach County?
Yes. Licensed and insured for Palm Beach County, with current certificates available on request — often required by associations, clubs and gated communities. More about who we are.
